The Runestone Caverns (Japanese: 鍵精製場, かぎせいせいじょう, Kagi Seiseijou [lit. "Key Refinery"]) is a location from Kendaria in Lost Kingdoms II. It has two stages: the Upper Chambers and the Lower Chambers.
Considering that the main map icon for these caverns and the glowing crystals inside the upper chambers are similar to those of the Yyprek Mines, and that both of these locations are in Kendaria, the Runestone Caverns could be the same location 200 years later.
Upper Chambers
The Upper Chambers are the first stage of the Runestone Caverns.
In the Story
Tara and Sol travel with Victor and the Band of the Scorpion on a mission to steal all the Runestones produced there in retaliation for the Kendarie Warriors' attack on the bandits in Bhashea High Road.

Trivia
- This area has two nearly identical maps for the same floor that has the sleuce gate. This may be because this part of the level might have remnants of a nearly-identical copy underneath it. More possible proof of this is that, if you hack the camera to explore out of bounds, you will find a second set of giant crystals underneath the the visible ones on the water's surface of this area.
- Talking to Victor and any of the other members of the Band of the Scorpion while transformed will panic them. They all have unique dialogue for this, even the bandit by the sleuce gate.
Lower Chambers
The Lower Chambers are the second stage of the Runestone Caverns. Soul-stealing pink lights (or Hit Point-taking, in Tara's case) dot this stage's narrow tunnels. The monsters here are unusually weak.
In the Story
Being unsuccessful in finding much of any Runestones in the Upper Chambers, the Band of the Scorpion travels deeper into the caverns and meet a terrible fate.

Trivia
- The map in the Brady Games guidebook for the Lower Chambers is slightly different. The walls of the last two rooms are visible in them. This could mean that earlier in development, the pits may have been able to be flown over with a flying Transform type card.
