A Magic Booster is a type of magical device introduced in Lost Kingdoms II.
Magic Boosters are special pads that, when activated, will power up Tara if she steps on them while using a Transform type card. How long the powered up effect lasts and what what it does depends on the card being used.
Magic Boosters can be found in the Upper Chambers of the Runestone Caverns, both the single player and the VS Mode map of Ruldo Forest, Fossil Boneyard, Bhashea Castle, Obenoix Gorge, Royal Tower, Middle, and the Temple of Sharacia.
While Magic Boosters are first found in the Upper Chambers, they cannot be used until Tara interacts with the switch in Ruldo Forest.

Mechanics
Magic Boosters will allow Power Transformers like Stone Golem to break large obstacles, such as the massive crystals in the Upper Chambers and the fallen trees in Ruldo Forest. However, some obstacles, like the frozen waterfall of Obenoix Gorge, can only be broken by the Stone Golem.
Magic Boosters will also give all Power Transformers and most Fliers the ability to damage enemies just by touching them, and make most Jumpers able to traverse high ledges like the ones found in Fossil Boneyard. Additionally, when any Transform type card is powered up by a Magic Booster, the Lifespan of the card won't decrease as long as Tara avoids using any of its skills.

Chariobot
While the Chariobot is powered up by a Magic Booster, its hubcaps will extend. When it's idle, it will look and sound as if it is charging up, but no orange energy orbs will appear. In this state, it no longer needs to be charged up to be able to move and it becomes easier to steer. Its powered up state lasts a while.
CircaSaurus
While the CircaSaurus is powered up by a Magic Booster, it will twirl around on the ball it balances on and makes noises whether it's idle or moving. As it moves, the CircaSaurus' tail will have a glowing green motion effect applied to it. Its movement speed is decreased, but it can damage enemies even when idle. Its powered up state doesn't last long.
Devata
While the Devata is powered up by a Magic Booster, it will go above ground and constantly flicker whether its idle or moving. It floats in place when idle and will swing its arms around as it moves. The Devata can cause contact damage while moving, but since it floats above the ground when powered up, it will be in constant danger. In this state, it can be spotted by enemies and can be harmed by both their attacks and any stage hazards it comes into contact with. The Devata's powered up state lasts a decent amount of time.
Stone Golem
While the Stone Golem is powered up by a Magic Booster, it will crouch down and shake as it's idle and will swing its arms in front of itself as it moves around slightly faster than normal. It will punch anything that gets in its way. Unlike the powered up states of the other Power Transformers and the Fliers, it can destroy any obstacle after using a Magic Booster. Its powered up state lasts a while.
Talos
While the Talos is powered up by a Magic Booster, his arms, head, and tassets will shake when idle, and he will aim his arms in front of him and constantly emit large, short ranged blasts as he moves. His powered up doesn't last long.
Jumpers
Most Transform type cards with the Jump skill will be able to Jump higher when powered up by a Magic Booster. If one is by a tall ledge, the Jumper can use the Magic Booster to to go over it. Unlike other Transform type cards, the powered up state of Jumpers only makes them jump up high once.

Baba Yaga

Trivia
- Afterimage effects applied to monsters usually match the colors of their attributes. However, when powered up with a Magic Booster, both the Unicorn of Lost Kingdoms II and the Wyvern use a green afterimage effect even though neither has the Wood attribute.
