  • By transforming a Flying Ray card using 3000 EXP
  • By transforming a Siren card with 1000 EXP
  • By purchasing from the Apothecary Shop 7 or 11 for 1500G
  • By collecting a hidden card in Lake Bestriel. Found in the middle of the puddle the Hydra is fought in.
  • By choosing the card in the Level Bonus for Lake Bestriel. 1 Hydra card is available.
  • By opening a chest at Terjon Temple. Found in the chest on the left side of a row of 2 chests next to a water wheel in the area before the 3rd switch.
  • By copying a Hydra card using 2000 EXP

A Hydra can be found as a powerful regular enemy in Obenoix Gorge near the end of the level after the mission is cleared.

  • By upgrading a Dragonoid card with 15000 EXP
  • By opening a chest in Obenoix Gorge. Found on a platform across the water by the frozen waterfall. The chest can be reached by using a flying Transform type card.
  • By choosing the card in the Level Bonus for Obenoix Gorge. 2 Hydra cards are available. This Level Bonus can only be accessed once.
  • By capturing a Hydra in Obenoix Gorge after the mission has been cleared
  • By opening a chest in Royal Tower, Middle. Found behind a breakable wall in the room with the Ice Golem. the wall can be broken using a Power Transformer card with an activated Magic Booster.
  • By importing cards from a Lost Kingdoms save file after clearing Sacred Battle Arena 2. The option to do this can only be taken once.
  • By copying a Hydra card using 16000 EXP
