{{Card_Template}}The Flying Ray (Japanese: エアーレイ, Air Ray) is a Water attribute creature and a Weapon type card introduced in from Lost Kingdoms.

Flying Rays can be found as enemies at Rohbach.

Appearance

The Flying Ray is a stingray with a dorsal fin, two sets of pectoral fins, and a tail that has barbs on the sides. It is predominantly white in coloration with red markings, and its lower pectoral fins are light blue. It hovers in the air as if it were swimming in water.

Obtainability

  • By purchasing at the Apothecary Shop 1, 2, or 11 for 30G
  • By transforming a Water Hopper card with 1000 EXP
  • By capturing a Flying Ray in Rohbach
  • By opening a chest in Rohbach. Found by two pieces of fence before the frozen lake.
  • By receiving the card from a dying Warrior of Wyht in the Castle of Wyht. This warrior is on the first floor, in the doorway of the leftmost room. Can be obtained each time the level is visited.
  • By copying a Flying Ray card using 700 EXP

Strategies

The Flying Ray functions similarly to the Dark Raven, but it is a Water attribute creature with more power. It's range is shorter to compensate.

As a Card

The Diving Attack skill of the Flying Ray card is short-ranged, but it is also very fast, pierces defense, and has auto-aiming capabilities.

Profile Descriptions

Card Profile

"A Weapon-Type creature. Not very lethal, and the delivery is a little tricky. It is a good choice against enemies with strong defenses, since the attack of a Flying Ray can penetrate any defense."

Monster Profile

"The stingray of the sky. When the Flying Ray spots a victim, it dives into the earth and waits for them to approach before leaping out and ramming into them."
