The Nobleman’s Residence is the starting location of Lost Kingdoms II. It is implied through a Red Fairy’s dialogue that the house is owned by one of the masked men.

Appearance

The Nobleman's Residence is a mansion with white walls and floors. The left wing in this residence has murals of masked and robed male figures on the walls, and ends in a room filled with bookshelves and pillaged chests. The right wing is filled with odd statues and ends in a room with a Stranger, most likely the owner of the mansion. The central wing is mostly empty, but the room at the end of it houses bookshelves, an abstract chair and table, and a map that unlocks the optional Isamat Urbur level.

Some of the unsettling sculptures in the Nobleman's Residence are large busts of bald men with open mouths; others are of eggs, which occasionally are held up by hands. The strangest of these are those that resemble grotesque creatures. The two rooms in this mansion with the odd creature and egg-shaped statues have an appearance of being nests, as if the house is being infested by something horrible.

Although only shown in a cutscene in-game, part of the paved path leading to the Nobleman's Residence is lined by light fixtures shaped like bald women with too long fingers holding glowing objects. In this same cutscene, this level is shown to take place on a clear night, in a location dotted by palm trees on the horizon.

Summary

The game starts with the Band of the Scorpion almost done burglarizing the Nobleman's Residence. Tara fights the monsters guarding the mansion to clear the path for the bandits to escape.

Later on, Tara can come back to this level with the Mysterious Key in hand to open the sealed doors of the mansion. After doing this, she can battle the Stranger who wields the Keil Runestone and find a map leading to the secret level known as Isamat Urbur.

Sealed Doors (optional)

The doors to the right and central wings of the Nobleman's Residence are sealed, but they can be opened once Gurd gives Tara the Mysterious Key. This key is found in Sacred Battle Arena 1.

Sacred Battle Arena 1 can be unlocked after the first mission of Ruldo Forest is completed. Once this mission is completed, going past where Gurd was and defeating the three Cockatrices there will unlock the level.

After entering Sacred Battle Arena 1, going to the room behind Gurd, defeating the Stranger there, and then talking to Gurd will give Tara the Mysterious Key. This key will allow her to explore the right and central wings of the Nobleman's Residence.
