  • Card Shop (Kadishu) (Optional non-combat location. Unlocks by entering it from Kadishu in the area with the cutscene.)
  • Jarvi’s House (optional non-combat location. Unlocks after rescuing Jarvi at Gromtull Desert.)
  • Gromtull Desert (Optional. Unlocks by talking to the young woman NPC at the crossroads in Kadishu.)
  • Kendarie Fortress
  • Bhashea Castle (Optional. Unlocks by entering it from Bhashea Highroad. Requires using either a jumping or flying Transform type card.)
  • Isamat Urbur (Optional. Unlocks by finding the map at the Nobleman's Residence after obtaining the Strange Key from Gurd at Sacred Battle Arena 1.)

  • Obenoix Gorge (Optional. Unlocks by talking to the Townsman who looks like the Rogue at the corner of the road near the fountain. He won't be there until after the first mission at Royal Tower, Lower.)
Wyht
  • Krasheen Mountains (Unlocks by talking to an NPC. In the US version, there are 3 that can unlock it. These are an Alanjian Soldier near the entrance doors of Royal, Tower Lower, a Townsman at the corner of the road by the fountain at Holzogh Town, and a Townsman in Kadishu at the crossroads. In RUNE II, the Japanese version, ...)
  • Grenfoel Cathedral
  • Card Shop (Cathedral) (Optional non-combat location. Unlocks after entering the doors between the organ and the mural in the Grenfoel Cathedral.)
