Lost Kingdoms II

In Lost Kingdoms II, Tara Grimface will meet Gurd later on in the game after her first confrontation with the Body of the God.

Tara will meet Gurd in the Ruldo Forest in Kendaria near the end of the level. Gurd will seemingly show up out of the nowhere by appearing to have teleported somehow. She will politely ask Tara is she knows what her Runestone is.{| class="quote" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" style="border:1px solid white; background:#f8e9ae; tcolor:black; -moz-border-radius:7px; padding:0; margin:.5em 1em .5em 1em; width:auto" |style=color:#000; text-align:left;padding:0 10px;"| "One moment, young lady... That is an interesting bauble you have there... I wonder if you know what it is? It is the one True Runestone, the Runestone of Queens. May I see it?"
– Gurd, Ruldo Forest
Tara will step back being visibly put off by Gurd's statement and sudden appearance. Gurd will reply to this by stating that she understands Tara's hesitance. Gurd will then introduce herself to Tara as a "simple old woman" and says that she knows a bit on how life works, followed by questioning Tara on her troubles. Tara will then give Gurd a brief overview of her life and how she got ahold of the Runestone. Gurd will then tell Tara that she should visit the Queen in Alanjeh with the belief that Tara would gain information on her past and family. Gurd concludes their conversation by giving Tara some advice.{| class="quote" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" style="border:1px solid white; background:#f8e9ae; tcolor:black; -moz-border-radius:7px; padding:0; margin:.5em 1em .5em 1em; width:auto" |style=color:#000; text-align:left;padding:0 10px;"| "Will you take some advice from an old woman before you go? Not everyone in this world is evil. Someday, you will know someone that even you can trust, Tara Grimface."
– Gurd, Ruldo Forest
