The Argwyllian Legends are a series of books from the Grenfoel Church library in Lost Kingdoms. It is a story on the origins of the Five Kingdoms of Argwyll: Alanjeh, Kendaria (written as Kendarie), Grayl, Bhashea, and Wyht.
Overview
The Argwyllian Legends, along with telling the story of how the Five Kingdoms of Argwyll were founded, also tells of how the five Runestones of Argwyll were made from the God of Creation, who is mentioned as a male evil spirit, and that they were given to these Five Kingdoms by the God of Harmony.
These legends do not include information on the God of Destruction or of the Five Kingdoms of the Dark Continent.
The true origin story is told on four lore tablets, one in each of the last four optional levels. They are told in the order of Yalwog, Terjon Temple, Hupon-Jen, and Temple of Amentankh. This version of the story can also be found at the library of Alanjeh Castle's Royal Tower in the sequel, Lost Kingdoms II.
Another version of these legends can be found in the form of the Argwyllian Myths scrolls. These scrolls are found in the library of Grenfoel Cathedral, which is the same church from the first game 200 years later.
