As a Card
In Lost Kingdoms II
The Beaker is one of the worst cards in Lost Kingdoms II. It has low health, low attack, doesn’t upgrade into anything, does not dodge, and has low defense. The only benefits to this card is its cheapness and the ability to inflict paralysis onto enemies. Cards like the Skeleton or the Witchlette are much better and cost the same, Making the Beaker useless in comparison.
In RUNE II
In RUNE II, the Beaker does not attack directly. Once it is attacked, the Beaker will explode and damage nearby enemies.

Card Profile
"An Independent creature that uses its sharp beak to inflict paralysis damage upon its enemies."
Monster Profile
"A bizarre creature built around a very sharp beak.
It has a very limited attack range, so unless their victim is surrounded, it's not much of a threat."

Trivia
- The Beaker's design stems from both Chanticleer and Fowlus, two enemies in Evergrace, another RPG developed by Fromsoftware in 2000. Atsushi Taniguchi, the producer of both Lost Kingdoms and Lost Kingdoms II, worked on enemy models for the game. It shares this characteristic with the Devata and the Jade Giant.
