{{Card_Template}}
The Hell Hound (Japanese: ヘルヘウンド, Hell Hound) is a Fire attribute monster and a Transform, Jumper type card introduced in Lost Kingdoms II.
The Hell Hound is the first obtainable Jumper card.
A Hell Hound is fought as the first boss of the game in the Nobleman’s Residence. After obtaining the Strange Key, more Hell Hounds can be found in the same stage as regular enemies.
Appearance
The Hell Hound is a large humanoid gray dog. It has a long red mane that starts as a light blonde-tipped widow's peak and has two large ribbon-like strands. The ribbon-like strands start off red as they split off from the sides of its mane and go around the back of its shoulders, are light blonde as they wrap around to the front, and change to black as they end on both sides of its mane again. The Hell Hound also has long arms that have red swirly tattoos from below its shoulders to above its wrists and has eyes that have purple sclera and white pupils. It wears a red loincloth with a long part on the back that functions as its tail.
Most depictions of the Hell Hound show it with stylized flame-shaped markings somewhere on its body, but where they are located varies. On it's in-game model, it has two large orange flame markings with one placed on each of its shoulders. In the part of the FMVs where the Hell Hound appears and in the Fire attribute themed loading screen, it appears as three small black markings with one on each ear and one on its snout. In the card art, it also has one marking on each of its ears, but they are barely visible. The only place the Hell Hound is seen without these types of markings is in the background art of the VS Mode menu screen.

Strategies
?
As a Card
The Hell Hound's only offensive skill as a card, Hell Flames, is a short distance attack. The Hell Hound spins its arms around, hitting any enemies that get too close.
The Hell Hound's Jump skill is a short-but-high jump better for reaching higher ground than crossing long gaps. While the Hell Hound and other Jumpers can be used for reaching some areas that can't be reached normally, their Jump skills can also be used to dodge enemy attacks.
As a Monster
The Hell Hound's Hell Flames skill is a short distance attack. The Hell Hound spins its arms around, hitting any enemies that get too close.
The Hound Kick skill is an attack that goes a longer distance than its other offensive ability. It causes the Hell Hound to jump and then kick while in midair.
The Hell Hound is a fast monster that dodges frequently. It is best to strike as it is using its Hell Flames skill or while it is recovering from landing after a Hound Kick.

Trivia
- The Hell Hound, Coal Treant, Ashura, and Fire Elemental each share matching stylized flame-shaped markings. These markings are seen in different places on the Hell Hound depending on where it is depicted, the Ashura's decorative metal back-plate, on the back of the Coal Treant, and on the Fire Elemental's hat. The markings on the Hell Hound, Ashura, and Coal Treant are split apart, while the ones on the Fire Elemental are closer together and appear as if they are one large marking instead of two smaller ones.
