Bhashea Castle is a location in Lost Kingdoms II. It is one of three bonus levels in the Bhashea region, the others being Gromtull Desert and Isamat Urbur.
The ruins of Bhashea Castle can be accessed by using either jumping or flying Transform type cards to cross the broken bridge in Bhashea High Road.

Sealed Warrior God
A great warrior, the Demon Swordsman, is sealed away in the courtyard of Bhashea Castle. He must be freed and defeated to complete the mission of this level. How to do this is written in an inscription in front of where he is sealed, and is also mentioned by a Red Fairy on a rooftop nearby.

To challenge The Demon Swordsman, Tara needs to gather the four blades of Ethilion, the Blades of Power, Skill, Wisdom, and Time, and place one on each broken pillar in the courtyard. Each of these blades are found somewhere in Bhashea Castle.
Blade of Power
The Blade of Power is found in the left room before the small clock. A weather-beaten sheet of parchment in the throne room hints at how to get it.
– Sheet of parchment, Bhashea Castle
To obtain the Blade of Power, Tara must defeat the Steel Skeleton.
If wanting to get a Steel Skeleton card without upgrading cards or picking it in a Level Bonus, capturing this monster instead of killing it is recommended. This Steel Skeleton will not return once it has been defeated, and other enemy Steel Skeletons won't appear until later in Sacred Battle Arena 2 and in Level 20 of the Proving Grounds.
Blade of Skill
The Blade of Skill is found in a room past the doors in the hallway by the left side of the courtyard. A plaque on the wall facing the entrance of this room hints at how to obtain it.
– A plaque, Bhashea Castle
To make the Blade of Skill appear in the US and PAL versions, Tara must throw a card at the sword stand in the room with the message on the wall. The blade will appear in the stand afterwards.
The Blade of Skill is found in the same location in RUNE II, the Japanese version, but what to do to make it appear is slightly different. Instead of throwing a card at the sword stand, Tara needs to throw a card into the hole by it.
Blade of Wisdom
The Blade of Wisdom is found in the right side of the castle, in the room before the small clock.
To obtain the Blade of Wisdom, Tara needs to step on tiles of a floor puzzle until all the tiles are bright. When entering the room the puzzle is in, most of its tiles will already be glowing, but the ones that display parts of a sword are not. Stepping on a glowing tile will darken it, and stepping on a darkened tile will make it glow.
Tara will automatically receive the Blade of Wisdom once all the puzzle tiles glow.
Blade of Time
The Blade of Time is found at the back of the courtyard.
To obtain the Blade of Time, the clock in front of the throne room must be adjusted to 6 o' clock. To do this, Tara needs to interact with the clock until the long hand on the clock face must be pointing at 12, and the short hand pointing at 6.
Once the clock has been adjusted to the proper time, the Blade of Time will appear on the mural at the back of the courtyard. After this happens, Tara can interact with the mural to collect the blade.
Boss Battle
Once all four of the blades of Ethilion have been placed on the pillars surrounding the Demon Swordsman, a cutscene will start showing him breaking free. Afterwards, the boss battle of Bhashea Castle will start.
Two Deaths will fight alongside the Demon Swordsman. After he is defeated, Tara will be rewarded with the Demon Swordsman card.
The Demon Swordsman has 300 HP and 10 Defense. Defeating him will give Tara 2700 EXP. He has two offensive skills: Unrivaled Glory and Body Cleaver.
Unrivaled Glory is a short range attack that causes 38 Base Damage, can hit up to three times per attack, and will knockback those it hits. When using this attack, the Demon Swordsman will use his sword three times; the first move a slice to the side, the second a slice downwards, and the third a stab in front of him.
Body Cleaver is a medium range attack that causes 50 Base Damage and can hit twice. When performing it, the Demon Swordsman will jump up in the air, then land a short distance closer to his target with his sword stabbing the ground. He can hit close-by opponents that he missed initially by removing his blade from the ground. While the land from the jump does not cause knockback, the removal of the blade from the ground does.
Additional Battles (optional)
By defeating the Demon Swordsman and aborting the mission before his card is obtained, he can be fought multiple times. Doing this is useful for EXP grinding and getting multiple Demon Swordsman cards by using Capture Cards.
Safely Grinding for EXP
By using the Unique Skill of a Lucky Lion card while using the attack of a Banshee card as the killing blow against the Demon Swordsman, Tara can quickly gain EXP for her cards and herself, as the combined EXP boosting effects of these cards will quadruple the usual amount of EXP rewarded from his defeat to 10800 EXP.
However, if Tara levels up to the point that she entirely skips over a level where she would gain a Defense point, she will permanently lose out on earning that Defense point even though her stats will show it as if it was. To prevent this glitch, the player should avoid using Banshee and Lucky Lion cards together when battling the Demon Swordsman unless Tara is already at Level 20.
Obtaining Multiple Demon Swordsman Cards
Since the Demon Swordsman card can't be copied in the US and PAL versions of Lost Kingdoms II, capturing him is the only way to get more than one of his card in the Story Mode of these versions. He can be captured multiple times by aborting the mission (or restarting with the same deck if the deck in use has at least one Capture Card left) before the capturing animation ends.

Trivia
- The candlesticks in front of the two suits of armor found at the entrance of the throne room can be broken. While no Magic Stones can be obtained from them, breaking them produces a unique sound effect.
- While the Bhashea Castle loading screen art has a Wyvern card in it, no Wyverns are found there.
- A screenshot from an early build of Lost Kingdoms II reveals that Wyverns were once planned to be enemies in Bhashea Castle. The Wyverns in the screenshot are Wood attribute creatures instead of Neutral, so they were most likely in the process of being replaced by the Birdmen at the time the screenshot was taken.
- The Blade of Wisdom puzzle looks slightly different in RUNE II. In this version of Lost Kingdoms II, dirt flooring takes the place of the darkened tiles from the US and PAL versions.
