The Lucky Lion (Japanese: シーサー, Shisa) is a Fire attribute creature and a Helper type card in Lost Kingdoms II.
Appearance
The Lucky Lion resembles a large-headed, small black dog. It has a curly red mane and tail streaked with yellow highlights. The tips of its large eyebrows carry flames.
Obtainability
- By opening a chest at the Bridge of Sarvan. Found fenced off on an island near the entrance of the level. A flying Transform type card is required to reach the island, and the switch there needs to be pressed to lower the fence surrounding the chest.
This card can be missed permanently. If Tara opens the Hobgoblin card's chest found in the enter of the moving bridge puzzle, the switch that lowers the fence around the Lucky Lion card's chest will sink down into the ground and become unusable. - By copying one using 12000 EXP
Strategies
As long as the Lucky Lion is on the battlefield all allies get double experience.
As a Card
The Lucky Lion will double the experience of monsters in range of its EXP Doubler Unique Skill, making it useful when trying to copy and/or upgrade cards quickly. However, since it has no offensive skills, it can't defend itself from enemy monsters. Additionally, despite its card profile saying it follows the player, it constantly walks around, so it tends to wander away instead. This can make it hard to both keep it out of harm's reach and continue using the effects of its Unique Skill.
In RUNE II, the Japanese version of Lost Kingdoms II, the Lucky Lion stays close the player instead of wandering off, which makes the card easier to use. It can even run to catch up with the player, and it can stay idle if the player isn't moving around.
As a Monster
The Lucky Lion does not appear as an enemy monster.
