Wyvern Slaying (RUNE II exclusive, optional)

In RUNE II, the Japanese release of Lost Kingdoms II, there is a sidequest and a repeatable optional mission to slay 5 Wyverns in the Krasheen Mountains. The sidequest is given by a priest on the right near the mural in Grenfoel Cathedral. Once all 5 Wyverns are defeated, the optional mission for the Krasheen Mountains will be completed, which will allow more chances to obtain cards from the Level Bonus for the Krasheen Mountains. Additionally, when Tara talks to the priest afterwards, he will give her a Blue Mold card.

All 5 of the Wyverns appear in the second half of the level after ?. The first and second are near the broken bridges on the cliff near the small mountain, the third is near the second exit, the fourth is before the cave on the left, and the fifth is in the cave.

• Birdman - Found across the gap near the Black Dragon. The chest can be reached by using either a long jumping or flying Transform type card.
• Charadrius - Found on a cliff between the 1^st Birdman statue and the cave close to the 1^st exit. The chest can be reached by using a flying Transform type card.
• Birdman - Found by the Birdman statue in the cave close to the entrance. The chest can be reached by using a flying Transform type card.
• Acid Dragon - Found in the second half of the level, to the left just past where the Black Dragon was sealed. The chest can be reached by using a flying Transform type card.
• Earth Moray - Found in the second half of the level, on the other side of the small mountain. The chest can be reached by using a flying Transform type card.

Red Fairies

The Krasheen Mountains have four Red Fairies. The first is on the bridge before the Deck Point, the second is in the cave near the entrance, the third is hidden under half of a broken bridge on an island behind where the Black Dragon is sealed, and the fourth is under half a broken bridge on the side of a cliff attached to the small mountain.

• There is a mark on the map for the Krasheen Mountains that resembles a wall in the middle of the exit near the entrance even though nothing visible blocks the way. Behind this invisible wall is an area that can be seen on the map texture, but since it can't be reached, the in-game map for this level can't be completed.
• The Krasheen Mountains is one of 3 locations with chests in Lost Kingdoms II where the contents of the chests found in it stayed the same in RUNE II. The other 2 locations are Grenfoel Cathedral and the Temple of Sharacia.
• The Japanese name for the Krasheen Mountains is based on Clécy, a real life location in the Normandy region of France.
