Trivia
- Horus is an ancient Egyptian god who rules over the sky and is a guardian of both the living and the dead. The Horus card monster is based on depictions of the god as a bird. An alternate depiction of the god can be seen as the statues of a man with the head of a falcon in the Temple of Amentankh from the original Lost Kingdoms game.
- The ancient Egyptian gods Horus, Anubis, and Osiris are all referenced in the Temple of Amentankh, but out of these gods, only Horus was made into a card in Lost Kingdoms II. However, the Horus card is not the only card based on deities from ancient Egyptian mythology. The other card is Sekmet, who is based on the goddess of war.
