Gargoyles can be found as enemies in the Krasheen Mountains.

- By upgrading a Popgun Charlie card with 4000 EXP
- By capturing one in the Krasheen Mountains
- By choosing one in the Level Bonus for the Krasheen Mountains. 3 Gargoyle cards are available. This Level Bonus can be accessed only once in the US and PAL versions of Lost Kingdoms II. In RUNE II, the Japanese version, it can be accessed again though the repeatable Wyvern slaying optional mission.
- By choosing one in the Level Bonus for Level 8 of the Proving Grounds, but only in the US and PAL versions. In RUNE II, the Gargoyle card was replaced with a Sphinx card.
- By copying one using 8500 EXP
