Eyes of the Butterfly, Beyond the Fortress is a card exclusive to RUNE II, the Japanese version of Lost Kingdoms II.

Eyes of the Butterfly, Beyond the Fortress can be used to change the world map theme to the music played in Kendarie Fortress. Although it can't be added to a deck or be used like a traditional Card of Power, this card and all others like it have the Mech attribute and the Helper type.

Eyes of the Butterfly, Beyond the Fortress and all other music cards can be used by selecting them in the card catalogue. The world map theme will change back to normal by entering and exiting a level or by resetting the game.

This card cannot be bought, sold, copied, upgraded from another card, or upgraded into another card.

Obtainability

• The only available Eyes of the Butterfly, Beyond the Fortress card can be found in a special blue chest in the Upper Chambers of the Runestone Caverns past the large ice crystal found at the highest point of the level. A Power Transformer card powered up by a Magic Booster is needed to break the ice so the chest can be reached. This card replaced the Land Shark card found at the same location in the US and PAL versions of Lost Kingdoms II.
