Backstory
After Tara was abandoned by her family as a child, Victor took her under his wing. Although Tara wasn't happy with being a thief, she felt the need to compensate Victor for essentially raising her. In order to repay Victor, Tara used her abilities as the holder of the true Runestone to help the Band of the Scorpion. She was one of the main reasons why the band was so successful because of this.
