Strategies

The Giant Bee is a quick moving monster that powers up all Wood creatures and weakens all Earth creatures as long as it is on the battlefield. It has two attacks it can use as an enemy monster, but it has no offensive abilities as a card.

As a Card

The Giant Bee will power up all Wood creatures and weaken all Earth creatures as long as it is active, but cannot attack in the form of a card.

Combined with the use of offensive Wood cards, the Giant Bee is incredibly useful in levels such as Gromtull Desert and the Temple of Amentankh, as many Earth creatures inhabit these places.

As a Monster

?

While Fire attribute cards have an elemental advantage over the Giant Bee, using Wood cards may be more effective, as the power of Wood cards will be increased by it even as an enemy monster.

Using a well placed Mandragora card is especially effective, as the attack of one can instantly defeat a Giant Bee. Mandragoras can be found in Dahl-Nok Valley where the path narrows before the last beehive on the first side of the level, so even if there weren't any Mandragora cards in Katia's chosen deck at the time the valley was entered, capturing one and using the Deck Point found on the opposite side will allow her to use these cards without having to leave.

Profile Descriptions

Card Profile

"This Special creature doubles the power of all Wood creatures, while simultaneously halving the power of any Earth creatures. It does not actually attack anything."

Monster Profile

"These enormous queen bees establish hives in large trees. They are very poisonous, and extremely aggressive. A Giant Bee will attack anyone who approaches her hive, be they friend or foe."
