{{Card_Template}}The Mandragora (Japanese: マンドラゴラ, Mandoragora) is a Wood attribute creature and an Independent, Trap type card introduced in Lost Kingdoms.

Mandragoras can be found as enemies at the Plains of Rowahl and in Dahl-Nok Valley.

Another variation of the Mandragora also exists in the form of the massive MegaMandragora.

Appearance

Mandragoras are small creatures with an appearance resembling that of a pineapple. They bury themselves underground waiting for other creatures to wander closer to their position. This can make them hard to spot, though they can still be identified by their shaking leaves and small soundwaves around them.

Obtainability

  • By transforming an Archer Tree card with 1000 EXP.
  • By capturing one at the Plains of Rowahl.
  • By choosing its card in the Level Bonus of the Plains of Rowahl. Up to two Mandragora cards are available.
  • By opening a chest in the Plains of Rowahl, in a corner of the area to the right of the Goblin Fort.
  • By purchasing one at the Apothecary for 45G. Available after completing the Plains of Rowahl until five stages have been completed, and after the game has been beaten.
  • By capturing one in Dahl-Nok Valley. Only found on the first part of the upper level, in an area where the path narrows before the fourth beehive.
  • By opening a chest in Hupon-Jen, on the path between the first and second arenas.
  • By copying one using 700 EXP.

Strategies

When approached, the Mandragora will launch itself out of the ground and emit a terrible scream, sending out large shockwaves that ignore defense and deal considerable damage to anything nearby. Unfortunately for the Mandragora, it is also destroyed when it uses this attack.

As a Monster

As getting too close to a Mandragora will cause it scream, hitting it with long ranged cards, like the Dark Raven, will prevent it from doing so. If careful enough, Katia can set one off and avoid taking damage, but it will not drop any Magic Stones or give experience points if it destroys itself.

Profile Descriptions

Card Profile
