"Pulberri Volcano"]) is a volcanic level exclusive to Lost Kingdoms which is found in the Kingdom of Wyht. It is the third-to-last main level in this game.

Appearance

Mt. Jarndunn is an active volcano, and the level itself takes place inside of it. Large boulders and natural bridges rest on a fiery lake of magma, forming the path to Ruh-Arok Temple. Several tall stalagmites poke out of the lake of fire's surface, and this lake gives the entire level a hazy, red atmosphere.

Stage Hazards

Mt. Jarndunn is a dangerous place, as it has several stage hazards. Large, spike-like stones are constantly being jut out of the magma by the paths near the level's entrance, dangerous volcanic vents that spray lava dot the level, and some small boulders violently spewed forth from the magma will occasionally land on the ground, damaging whoever or whatever they hit.

These stage hazards are dangerous to Katia and her active Independent type creatures, but they can be used in her favor. If an enemy monster is lured to one in time, it too can be damaged, and even defeated without the use of a card. This works even better on the boss of the level, the Red Dragon. It will attempt to counter attack the volcanic vents if harmed by them, and will most likely be harmed by them again in the process of doing so.

Trivia

  • The temple guardians, the odd towers that are found on the paths before the boss fight and give warnings when interacted with, were reused for the level goals in the Proving Grounds from Lost Kingdoms II. However, these goals lack the floating orbs of the temple guardians and have nothing to say.
  • Since the flame jets cause fire damage, the amount they can inflict during a battle will be increased whenever a Hand of Fire is active.
