Backstory

During the events of the second game, it is revealed that Leod VIII of Kendaria went on a search for power with the intent on becoming "King of the entire world". During his search for power, he awakened the God of Harmony, but the God had sacrificed itself to seal away the God of Destruction and the God of Creation, meaning Leod VIII awakened the Body of the God of Harmony, a horrific creature instead.

In-Game Story

Tara will temporarily defeat this foe and leave the area.

Leod VIII will continue to try to get ahold of Tara's Runestone until his inevitable defeat by the hands of Tara.
