  • By transforming a Ghoul card with 4000 EXP
  • By receiving it as a reward in Lumsted. Obtained by winning 29-31 battles before cleansing the 4th well.
  • By copying one using 4000 EXP

...If Katia has a Banshee card in her deck, she can hit the Necromancer with it from a distance and will have better chance to avoid the Spell Casting attack. The Banshee card can also inflict the Curse status, which the Necromancer is not immune to. If inflicted, the Necromancer will cease attacking and teleporting and begin to wander around the battlefield for a short time. However, the attack of the Banshee can't interrupt the Necromancer's Spirit Summons. Katia will have to hit the summoned skulls with the melee attack of another card to destroy them.

Trivia

  • The Necromancer card in the original Lost Kingdoms game is one of two cards used in the only combo utilized by an enemy Runestone Master in the series. This combo is used by Thalnos the Enchanter, while the other card in the combo is the Steel Skeleton.

Necromancers can be found as powerful regular enemies in Level 18 of the Proving Grounds. Additionally, an enemy Necromancer has a chance to appear in the VS Mode Temple of Sharacia stage when capturing is enabled.

  • By upgrading a Devata card with 12000 EXP
  • By capturing one in Level 18 of the Proving Grounds
  • By choosing its card in the Level Bonus for Level 18 of the Proving Grounds. Only 1 Necromancer card is available. This Level Bonus can be accessed whenever the level is cleared with at least 1 rating star.
  • By importing cards from a Lost Kingdoms save file after clearing Sacred Battle Arena 2. The option to do this can only be taken once.
  • By capturing at the VS Mode Temple of Sharacia stage when capturing is enabled
  • By copying one using 21000 EXP
