The Burial Grounds (Japanese: アミアン墓地, Amianbochi [lit. "Amiens Graveyard"]) is a location in Lost Kingdoms found within the Kingdom of Alanjeh.
Appearance
The Burial Grounds are filled with many tombstones. All the trees in this area are dead, and those close to the end of the stage have faces growing on their trunks. Because of the stormy weather, parts of the dirt roads here are covered in mud puddles. Crows perch in the trees and on the graves.
Summary
Also known as the Burial Grounds at Rhos-Ami, these are the burial grounds of the Royal Family of Alanjeh. King Feobane and his Royal Guard passed through here on their way to the Castle Grayl, with Lord Unther falling in battle here and requesting to be left behind so the King could be protected. Princess Katia passed through, hot on her father’s trail, and ran into Lord Unther, who told her her father had already moved on.
The Ancient Kings of Alanjeh
Throughout the Burial Grounds, Katia found five tombstones of ancient kings of Alanjeh, four of whose colors were used to solve the puzzle at the end of the graveyard.
- Gryffid the Golden. Gryffid, recipient of the Runestone, mightiest of all warriors. He pacified the fertile border lands. His golden man shown like the sun, his sword was ever at the ready. Gryffid the Golden, Gryffid the Wise.
Rowahl the Green. Grieved by the sight of the war-ravaged land, Rowahl took up the hoe. Together with his beloved Sand Creatures, King Rowahl restored life to the dead earth. In their earthy homes, the Sand Creatures still await the return of their lord.
Ermwahl the White. Ermwahl the pure, who dedicated his life to finding a cure for his queen’s illness. Long will the bards sing of Ermwahl and his one true love.
Beria, the Explorer King. The King of all explorers, Beria was last seen heading into a strange black mist. Never at peace during life, the King found no rest in death either. Beware the curse of King Beria!
Dain (sic) the Red. Dane, master of the art of war. His polished bronze armor shone like the midday sun. The very sight of Dane struck fear into the hearts of his foes. Dane added 17 new lands to the Kingdom.
Necromancer
Princess Katia defeated a Necromancer in the area of the Burial Grounds locked behind the Four Great Kings puzzle. It appeared to be connected to the obelisk in the center of the area, which exploded upon its defeat.
