As a Card

The Chimera as a card retained the Bull Charge skill from the original Lost Kingdoms game, although how it functions was altered slightly. This version of the attack can't auto-aim and will only strike at whatever opponents happen to be in the direction the user is facing. However, the skill's attack radius is a little wider than the Chimera itself, so even if the attack isn't directly hitting an opponent, it may still be able to do damage. The Chimera's new skill, Hellish Healing, will remove any special damage conditions effecting the user and any active friendly creatures. In RUNE II, the Japanese version, the Chimera's Hellish Healing skill was replaced with Fairy Call, a move that reveals how many uncollected Red Fairies are in a level.

Trivia

  • Sarvan has a glitched or unfinished boss battle that can be activated whenever the end of the level is approached after the first mission. It has the same monsters as the one for the first mission, so the Chimera can be fought again whenever the end of the level is reached.

Triggering this boss battle will allow additional opportunities to capture a Chimera, but winning it will not clear another mission, and the boss battle music will continue to play until the level is exited.
