- By upgrading a Chimera card with 10000 EXP
- By capturing one at the Plains of Rowahl
- By choosing its card in the Level Bonus of the Plains of Rowahl. Only 1 Manticore card is available. This Level Bonus can only be accessed 2 times. The 1st time is when Tara reunites with Sol at the end of the level, and the 2nd is when the God of Destruction card inside the Royal Vault is collected.
- By copying one using 20000 EXP

- An unfinished boss fight with a Manticore, a Sand Golem, and a Devil Plant can be found at the end of the Plains of Rowahl after the first mission. While boss music plays when these enemies spawn, nothing will happen if these enemies are defeated, and the boss music will continue to play until the level is exited.
