Z-Effect is a card mechanic unique to Lost Kingdoms II. It is activated by holding the Z button and hitting the button of the desired card.
Mechanics
Z-Effect has two primary uses: strengthening cards and creating Combos.
Strengthening Cards
Z-Effect has one primary effect, regardless of which type of card used. Any card that has been Z-Affected has their current Magic Stone cost doubled. This effect stacks with all other cost altering effects.
In Combat

Z-Effect also increases the attack of any Independent, Weapon, and Summon card by 1.5x. Helpers and Transforms are not affected in this way.
The second effect of Z-Effect is a doubling of lifespan on any Independent, Helper, or Transform card. Despite popular belief, HP is not affected.
Combos

By activating the Z-Effect on Certain cards, you can create combos. Once you have assembled a combo, you may throw it by using one of the cards.
