As a Monster

While the movement speed of the Demon Fox and its Nine Fireballs attack are slow, the attack itself has a homing ability. The area the Demon Fox is fought in is full of black water that reduces the player's movement speed, so the attack is difficult to evade.

Card Profile

"A very strange fox with very powerful magic. Using the power of Fire, the Demon Fox will damage every Wood creature on the battlefield."

Monster Profile

"The ancient, nine-tailed fox shoots nine fireballs at a time. Each one can track a moving target. The Demon Fox is fond of polluting the territory of his enemies with magically-poisoned black water."

{{Card_Template}}The Demon Fox (Japanese: キュウビ, Kyuubi [lit. “Nine Tails”]) returns in Lost Kingdoms II. It retains both the Fire attribute and the Summons type.

A Demon Fox is found as a midboss guarding a switch in Royal Tower, Middle. As long as the switch hasn't been pulled, it can be fought multiple times by exiting and reentering the stage. If the switch has been pulled, the Demon Fox will not return.

Other Demon Foxes can be found as powerful enemies in Level 4 of the Proving Grounds.

Strategies

As a Card

Demon Fox makes for effective crowd control in areas with a large population of Wood attribute monsters, such as Ruldo Forest and Levels 10 and 11 of Proving Grounds. Z-Effect Tree Killer will immediately clear the field of all but the strongest Wood attribute monsters.

As a Monster

While the areas a Demon Fox can be fought in won't reduce the players movement speed, the Nine Fireballs attack still has a homing ability and has become faster than it was in Lost Kingdoms.

Profile Descriptions

Card Profile

"A strange fox with very powerful magic.

Using the power of Fire, the Demon Fox can damage every Wood creature in the area, regardless of defensive ability."

Monster Profile

"An ancient and evil fox boasting 9 tails, from which it dispenses 9 fireballs at a time.

The fireballs have the ability to seek out their targets."
