- By upgrading a Carbuncle card with 18000 EXP
- By capturing one during the battle with the Stranger at Isamat Urbur
- By purchasing one from a Card Shop for 900G. Available at the Cathedral Card Shop and the post game inventories of both Card Shops.
- By choosing one in the Level Bonus for Level 10 of the Proving Grounds, but only in the US and PAL versions of Lost Kingdoms II. Only 1 Napalm Beast card is available. This Level Bonus can be accessed whenever the level is cleared with at least 1 rating star.
- By copying one using 18500 EXP
