- Ryuhi’s Japanese name, Tiamat, originates from the Babylonian goddess of the sea and primordial chaos. Her true form is unknown in modern day, but often believed to be a serpent or dragon. In modern pop-culture, Tiamat refers to the evil, five-headed goddess of dragons in Dungeons and Dragons.
- Ryuhi is one of the few cards effective against the Mech attribute.
